DBSL Birthday is a free Odoo module that remembers birthdays for you. At midnight it sends a personal greeting to employees and customers by email, SMS and OdooBot chat, and at 10 AM it tells designated managers whose birthday it is. A dashboard shows birthdays for the next 30 days, and a banner on the home page lets colleagues join in.

Setup
- Install the module from Apps.
- Enable email and SMS in Settings > General Settings.
- Choose admins by ticking Birthday Admin on their employee records.
- Add birth dates to employees and contacts.
- Test from the Birthday menu > Send Notifications.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an SMS gateway?
Only for SMS greetings. Email and chat work without one. In Bangladesh it pairs well with the free MuthoSMS module.
